On Saturday March 27th, the eleventh annual Rohto Ironman 70.3 will take place, right in our beautiful home of Oceanside. There is approximately 2,500 athletes coming out to compete for the title. Events in this competition include a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run. The swim will take place in the Oceanside Harbor, the bike loop will be through San Clemente Park and Campt Pendleton, and the run will go through the coastal neighborhoods of Oceanside (right by our properties).
$30,000 is at stake, as well as qualification for the world championships taking place on October 9 in Kailua-Kona, HI, and on November 13 in Clearwater, Fla.
Get out and support the 2,500 participants, ages 18 to 79 years old, from over 44 states and 20 countries! It is going to be a beautiful and sunny weekend in Oceanside, with expected highs in the 70s.
