All homes in Oceanside, CA sit behind a rock barrier protecting the homes from storm surges. The amount of sand beyond the rock barrier varies quickly with storms and tides and may have more or less sand than what is shown in the photos.

It was very good. House inside is beautiful and clean and properly equipped, furnished. The backyard needs remodeling but ok. fire-pit was good. we had minor incident with the co2 alarm that started beeping just after we started to heat the oven an kept beeping so that we had to remove it from wall, but we called maintenance that came right away changed the alam that continued to beep with oven heating on next day. so may need to check the oven. We also used the fireplaces inside the one in the kitchen seemed to be leaking gas or at least smelled strong all the time it was on. Would recommend a few more tips for the kitchen : placemats for the table and for pans to protect dining table. kitchen tongs small and medium and large size, flute for Prosecco/champange, another set of cutlery set, few more utensils. a filter jar (brita). I suggest leaving plastic wrap and or aluminum foil. Showers were ok need light inside shower and the showers are too small, would be nice to get a bigger shower head. In general it was a great place close to stores.

The house was Beautiful inside and out. I was so Happy with everything. Oh one thing with our stay at this unit as well as others we have stayed at with Beachfront Only,One hand towel in the bathroom is not enough. Small thing for such a Wonderful Beautiful Place.

It was wonderful!! Very very clean and inviting! Beds were comfortable lots of space through out the house! Had a little electrical short on one side of house and they were out immediately! Highly recommend this place!!

This is a great location to stay. The unit was fully equipped with everything you need to have a great stay. Good location to use as base camp for San Diego attractions. No beach access from this location but great beaches are close by.

The property is very clean & nicely decorated. The only issue I had is that upon arrival the house was hot. Once the 6 AC units were found & running, all was comfortable! The location is ideal. The management company was most helpful. This property is great for a family. I would most definitely return.

The pictures online did not represent the outside well. Beach access was a great distance away. The deck furniture and floor needed to be cleaned. However, I enjoyed listening to the sounds of the ocean. The inside of the house was very clean. Could definitely use at least one full view mirror, vanity space in the bathroom, and tables or chairs in the bedrooms for placing luggage especially since there is hardly any drawer space for clothes. Furniture and layout of house was nice.
