Enjoy the ocean breeze from your lovely LOWER LEVEL oceanfront home that lies right on The Strand. This property is appointed with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It features a gorgeous fully equipped kitchen with bar top seating. The turf backyard is fantastic new addition to this unit; perfect place to have a BBQ and throw a frisbee. No AC, however, there are ceiling fans throughout the unit and additionally, our team provides small fans to our guests.

The pictures of the property did not reflect the actual condition of the property. There was a large amount of trash left on the front side of the rental. The inside of the rental was not very clean and there were a couple of large cockroaches we came across. The bed was extremely uncomfortable as well.

A beautiful and convenient location! Loved the recent kitchen remodel and space.
Areas for improvement:
1. The AC units in the window are cheap and have foil unsecured on each side of the unit that blows with the wind letting in outside draft and… in addition this set-up effects the the ocean view from kitchen/living room and prevents any ability to have open air in the main bedroom.
2. The windows when they can be opened, do not stay open due to lack of tread or overall replacement or fixtures needed.
3. Turning the front area into a 6-car parking lot affects the view from the lower unit. Suggest only 4 (2/unit) on the gate side to allow for a lower unit view of the ocean.
4. Fix the fireplace holes and get an insert for ability to experience a lovely gas fire via a quick switch.

The house is cozy. The throw rug in livingroom is badly stained and should be replaced. The backyard is very nice, but most people want to be in the front to see the ocean view so having firepit in front and back would be good. One of the front windows was broken and the other had AC unit in it which blocks the ocean view from inside. The main bedroom window had an AC unit and the taping used around the unit was coming unstuck which let in allot of cold air, I used beach towel to block the air draft. The walk space between the closet and bed in the main bedroom is really tight, a larger person would have to walk sideways to pass through. We like the your properties but will select a larger unit next time when staying more than a couple days.

Loved being 30 steps from ocean. Kitchen was well stocked. Very clean & rental co. answered our call’s promptly. The weekend can be busy on the on the Strand with cars & lots people. Entertaining at times. There’s a good amount restaurants within walking distance. Recommend taking the Coaster train to Old Town San Diego & getting on the Trolley tour. Great Place To Relax

Great Time in Oceanside

This Rental is in a great location.
The kitchen and bathroom upgrades are very nice, giving the house a modern feel. The parking is very convenient and the spacious closed in back yard is great, especially for children and your furry family members. I do suggest bringing hangers for your clothing. There is only one closet located in the master bedroom and neither room has drawers for unpacking.

Beautiful beachfront rental

This was the perfect rental for a party of 5 (grandparents, parents, and a young teenager) and a small dog. The first level but was recently remodeled and updated beautifully. It had everything we needed. The backyard was fenced and provided plenty of room for the dog and had ample seating for the family. It was conveniently located for beach going, shopping, and restaurants. We loved listening to the waves every morning and every evening. We were right on the Strand (a one-way, one-lane street) with only that street and some holders between us and the ocean. It was the perfect location of for us. Initially, we did not understand how to lock the unit but, in a few minutes, figured out you had to press the gear symbol on the door lock. We will certainly recommend this unit to our friends and hope to stay here again.

This little place had an epic back yard with a perfectly working grill and fire warming unit. Plenty of propane for our stay. Tons of room for our dog to play in the safety of an enclosed location with plenty of lounging for guests. Inside, upgraded beautifully! Ice maker keeps ya busy but works awesome! Comfortable beds and towels/ linens provided. All appliances worked perfectly and kitchenware in great shape. Actual beach is a bit of a walk but the waves crashing was very zen. All in all highly recommended location for a small family and dogs.

Beautiful ocean view

Our beach rental was so adorable. It looked like it was recently remodeled and had such a great beach vibe. It was wonderful to watch and listen to the waves. The sunsets were amazing. We had an issue with the door lock. The management company was able to remotely let us in and maintenance was there in 10 minutes and replaced the entire lock. Definitely will come back again. The only downfall was the parking situation. The parking when all 3 units are rented, blocks our view.

Good and Bad

The rental is adorable, clean and convenient! Loved the location, kitchen and great room. Great for digs, too! We were disappointed my Nordstrom robe that we accidentally left in the master bathroom was not located by housekeeping. We felt a wonderful stay ended with dishonesty.

A Great Home Away From Home!

The property was clean, the kitchen contained all the essentials to make delicious meals, and it was easy walking distance to conveniently located restaurants (The Flying Pig), breweries (Breakwater Brewing), and a well-stocked minimart (Wisconsin Market & Spirits). I loved starting every morning with a walk along the beach to grab a cup of coffee at The Cup Coffee. I had only 3 very minor issues: (1) the fireplace wasn't working, (2) the beach view from the front window is blocked by cars parking for neighboring units, (3) the backyard doesn't have enough light for nighttime and the heater doesn't provide much heat. However, the management was always very quick to respond to any and all inquiries. In all, I would definitely return.

Can’t beat the scenery!

This apartment was incredible! Right across from the beach. Huge backyard, which was great for the kids and our 2 dogs. Whole house was updated and very spacious considering it’s a beach house. Excellent stay!

We had an absolute blast on our stay! The house was great (we had to change locations at the last minute so this one was smaller than we wanted, there were 6 of us, but it worked out)! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever imagine. Our wine opener broke on the first day and they had a new over within a few hours. There were a couple of other things that weren't working (dishwasher, porch light) but they fixed those quickly as well. The TV is a little difficult to use if you aren't techy - we really just wanted some local channels so we could watch football but they weren't available. Beds were super comfortable as well as the pillows - super important! It was nice having a washer and dryer as well. The fire pit in back was nice and we used it every night. It would be nice to somehow make the front porch have more seating and a fire pit out there so you can enjoy the view while sitting by the fire. We will definitely be renting from here again!

PERFECT BEACH GETAWAY

Great House!

Had a fantastic time hanging out with my friends as the beach. I absolutely fell in love with the kitchen and made use of it during my stay. The checkin process was a breeze. Our door code was emailed to us so we didn't have to go into the office to get a keycard or anything. Can't get much closer to the beach than this.
